El Mariachi 2
The El Mariachi is our get-it-done-well-everyday mountain bike.
We first introduced our steel El Mariachi in 2007, and riders have given it rave reviews ever since.
The Kung Fu CroMoly frameset provides an excellent ride quality without dismissing durability.
The Alternator dropouts have proven themselves in the longest toughest races and rides. They provide quick and secure wheel adjustment and make this an incredibly capable, and versatile, beast. Run geared or singlespeed setups depending on the mission at hand.
On the bikepacking front, consider using an Enabler Fork with a singlespeed front wheel to provide an emergency bail out option should a drivetrain catastrophe occur in the backcountry.
Whether you’re putting on the really big boy (or girl) pants and taking on a bikepacking epic like the Tour Divide or just joining your local crew for an all-day trail riding beatdown, the El Mariachi will keep you coming back for another delicious serving of dirt.

Adjustable Ride Characteristics
Using the Alternator dropouts, geared riders can fine tune the ride characteristics of their bike by adjusting chainstay length and overall wheelbase to be quick and nimble, or longer and more stable -
Set-It-And-Forget-It Singlespeed Setup
The Alternator dropouts swinging design and set screws offer quick setup and tensioning. Vertical wheel entry means no re-tensioning or brake adjustments are necessary after a wheel change. Slip-free and creak-free performance -
Replaceable/Serviceable Hardware
Alternator swing plates (Geared, Single, Rohloff, and Thru-Axle) are all replaceable, and all the bolt hardware is standard-size metric socket head cap screws (also available in a replacement kit) -
