BIKE Week Shinanigans

Riding the Umpqua River Trail was amazing and unbelievably fun. But what did we do besides ride? Well, our days pretty much looked like this. Wake up, eat, laugh, repair yesterday's mishaps, ride, eat, laugh a lot more, clean up, eat, and then the camp fire shinanigans begin. Take a look.

The base camp.

Western Spirit provides amazing food. I love Simon's Dakine grilling specific wristband.

We had more than one tubeless rim issue on this rocky ride. The poor owner of this wheel had to ride with a tube. ;)

Nothing like sitting back and enjoying a highly competitive game like horse shoes after an all day ride.

This pretty much sums up the end of every night. Pure enjoyment of the campfire and friends followed by one last drink of root beer before going to bed.

Amigos—can you do a post this week where you toss us Salsa fans a few peppers of what to expect from you at Eurobike and Interbike (which are both just a few days away). ¡Gracias!
