0 CommentsOK...Enough serious talk. We'll get back to that later. Let's talk riding today. After 3 short snowfalls in October, Fall finally hit Minnesota. There is just no better time than Fall to ride your bike and experience the environment around you.
When fall hits a lot of cyclists change gears. It's not just about going fast. Sure there is cyclocross but let's be honest, cross isn't just about riding fast. It's about the experience and fun too. Fall riding is fun. Take that road or trail you've always wondered where it goes. Who know's, it might end up going no where?
The other thing I like about the fall is that the change in season brings changes to your regular trail. Leaves change color. Light shines in new places. Leaves cover the trail sometimes hiding roots and rocks. Check out this picture of one of our regular rides. The color and light give it a fresh feeling.
This past weekend was so incredible I didn't want it to end. We ended up celebrating fall with a little fire, meat on a stick and a beer or two.
Ahhh......Fall rules!
