For many of us, our Salsa ride days are the best days of the year. I mean what could be better than getting to ride all day with friends, test & refine products and share a meal together before heading home? Our agenda for yesterday was to meet at Wirth Park Chalet and head out from there. We hit the perfectly packed in trails of Theodore Wirth Park. It was an amazing day. I snapped a few pics along the way to give you an idea of what these days are like. Hope you enjoy.
Meiser, Maillen and I met at Joe's @ 7:00AM and headed out. Our first stop was Isle Bun & Coffee on the way to the Wirth Park Chalet.
Meiser's route involved some exploration. Anyone who has ridden with Joe knows that pushing, hiking or wading are all parts of riding with Joe.
The main Chalet at Wirth was our pre ride meet up. Koski laid down some epic skids on the slippery sidewalks while the rest of us warmed up. As you can see it was a beautiful sunny day.
Any time you ride with a group of people, you get spread out. On these rides we attempt to regroup, talk and occasionlly take some photos. Brisk temps, blue sky and long shadows make for some fun photo opportunities.
This is probably one of my favorite photos for the day. Kid Riemer making a tight turn on his new Mukluk.
What a day! In the end, we all returned home a bit tired but refreshed. Can't wait for the next one.

Growing up as a Minnesota farm boy, I developed an appreciation and love for land and open space. This appreciation has fostered two passions, cycling and photography. Both of these passions provide freedom, encourage me to explore and foster creativity. More importantly though, my journey with a bike and a camera reminds me that the world is big and I am small.
