ADVENTURE BY BIKE®

Image Inspiration: Labor Day Stoke

Two images to get you stoked for some Labor Day Weekend riding.

Fittingly, both these shots come from Spearish, in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The Dakota 5-O race is going off there this weekend. As Perry, Kristi, and the rest of the Ridge Rider's like to say...'Putting the labor back into Labor Day.'

Enjoy the long weekend!

Mike Riemer

I love being outside. I prefer to ride on dirt. Or snow. If I was born a hundred years earlier I might have been a polar explorer. There's a great natural world out there to see, smell, taste, listen to, and experience. Life slows down out there and the distractions we've created will disappear if you let them. Give me a backpack and let me go.

It was a Laborous Weekend to say the least.  But the real question was after 12 years of clockwise riding the course, was it blessing or a curse to ride reverse?  I think the overall consensus was a blessing.  60lbs. of bacon, 200+ gallons of microbrew, food and prizes for everyone, and most importantly well groomed singletrack. Thanks Kid, we missed you!
