Greetings Amigos. Hope you all are having a great week. Salsa is back in the office this week following a crazy week in a town known as Sin City. It was a great show. We left with some great experiences, dealer interactions, and observations. I’d like to take some time over the next week or so to address some of the common questions we received at Interbike. Today’s post is dedicated to our CroMoto stems.
After doing both Eurobike and Interbike it is clear that folks want to know “What’s going on with the CroMoto stem?” “Will you still make CroMoto stems?”
Well….first things first. If you have a stem that falls within the recalled date range we provided here on our CroMoto stem recall website, please have it replaced. Please find a retailer to work with and we will work with the retailer to get you a new stem.
Now onto the direct questions. What is going on with the CroMoto Stems? Right now we are working on a new production process that will result in an even stronger and better CroMoto stem. Currently we are still testing but we hope to offer you a new and improved CroMoto stem sometime in 2010!
Please know I share this with good intentions. Because we are still in the development stages, there is still the possibility that we may not succeed. However, I want to be clear that we do intend to have a new and improved CroMoto stem.
Stay tuned for the next installment of “Where are the new Ala Carte and El Mariachi?”

Growing up as a Minnesota farm boy, I developed an appreciation and love for land and open space. This appreciation has fostered two passions, cycling and photography. Both of these passions provide freedom, encourage me to explore and foster creativity. More importantly though, my journey with a bike and a camera reminds me that the world is big and I am small.
