Introducing David

I’m excited to post something a little more fun today. I’d like to welcome David G to our team. David is our new Sales and Customer Service Manager. That’s a pretty long title. It took almost 9 months to find the right person for this specific job. We had lot’s of applicants and we had a few really talented individuals, but for this job, they just weren’t right. David will be leading our sales team and creating a sales & service vision to deliver to dealers.

David comes to us with a lot of experience, both personal and professional. He’s a good mid western boy so he works hard. He’s a very good cyclist. He’s a world traveler. I’ll let him go into detail if he desires. You can also read about him on the bio page when we get his information up.

Here is my view of David from my desk.

David, welcome aboard. You are no longer free from the fun and games.

Growing up as a Minnesota farm boy, I developed an appreciation and love for land and open space. This appreciation has fostered two passions, cycling and photography. Both of these passions provide freedom, encourage me to explore and foster creativity. More importantly though, my journey with a bike and a camera reminds me that the world is big and I am small.

Congrats on the new job David. They offered it to me first but I had to turn it down. I just couldn’t handle the commute. Hope you like being their second choice. It will be okay.

Congratulations on the new gig with the crew at Salsa, David! Good luck, and I look forward to meeting and riding with you. You’re welcome at my place anytime.

Cheers,
MG

Jason—the correct grammar is “they just weren’t right”.

David—congratulations. Salsa needs help expanding its independent bike dealer network.

I know I struggle with grammar. Thanks. It is now corrected.

Why do I want to put my thumb and forefinger up and do the “I’m crushing your head” bit from the old “Kids In The Hall” show on Comedy Central? I can just see Jason in his cubical doing that to pass the time.

“I’m crushing your head”...
“I’m crushing your head”...
