5 CommentsA couple of years ago we started sponsoring the CLIF Bar Junior Development CX team. CLIF Bar is a great partner and we are so thankful to be affiliated with them. So much so that we worked with them on their road team. Introducing the CLIF Bar Team Podio.
The crew over at CLIF bar really put a sweet package of components together. Check out their team blog OVER HERE. Overall, we think the bikes turned out pretty swell. Thanks to Dylan and the crew and working with Salsa for 2009. We hope this is a long term partnerhip.
One note: These team frames will not be available for sale. These are custom built rigs for the team. Sorry. Production Podio's will be coming soon.

Meant to add—it’s nice to see Salsa making further inroads into the road market. <BR><BR>It’s also nice to see Salsa get more seriously involved with a company such as CLIF, which is serious about doing sustainable business, and partners/supports many excellent community development and environmental conservation organizations.<BR><BR>I never go on a long bicycle ride without a few packs of CLIF Shot Blocks. <BR><BR>Because of the corporate values (especially as regards social responsibility) and high quality image consumers associate with CLIF, I think the CLIF Salsa frames are great co-branding. There could be further opportunities here (e.g. co-branded cycling gear, accessories, etc).<BR><BR>Plus it’s really nice Salsa is sponsoring cycling teams.<BR><BR>Finally, the Salsa CLIF frames are just darn beautiful!
