Salsa Pistola frames and bikes in stock!

Good morning folks. Hope you all had a great weekend. Thought I'd spend just a moment to let you know that our Pistola complete bikes and frames are now in stock and and shipping. Thanks for patiently waiting. Also, since they are just a bit later than planned, we've also got a little surprise to share.

Our little surprise is so new, we don't even have a picture of the actual surprise. Take a look at the picture above taken in Ward, CO. Now imagine that same bike with a painted to match fork. Oh yeah! That's right, we added a touch more class to the sweet OX Platinum tubed Pistola by painting the carbon fork to match the rest of the frame.

Enjoy your week folks. Buy a Pistola.

Yep, that’s a sweet ride. If I rode road more, I’d definitely ride one. It has me thinking harder about adding a road bike than I’ve thought in a long, long time… since I got rid of my much-loved Bontrager RoadLite (s/n 0068)... Fond memories there.

Awesome, Butcher, though I’ll miss the little Salsa pepper on the Podio’s fork, I guess. Now if we could only make those Ti ProMoto stems arrive next week as well!!!

Definitely was an awesome ride that day. Only wish I could have spent some time on the Pistola wink

Are the actual weights on the production Pistolas rally 19# or something else now that you actually have them?
Thanks,
Chris

Pistola looks great, and the painted fork will make it even more of a warm gun (as the Beatles might have said). Will Podio also have a painted to match fork (even if both frame and fork are black)? Also, any guidance on when Podios are expected? Thanks.

Thanks TNPBOUCHER! Post corrected.

It sure was a nice ride that day wasn’t it?

That pic was actually take in Ward, Co.

... Interestingly enough, the ‘ol Bonty has been down that Ward Hwy many times when I lived in Boulder back in the late ‘90s. More good memories…

Maybe I do need a Pistola?

Velodelphia, good question.

The Podio forks have a gloss finish over the carbon so they match that frame nicely. So….No the forks are not painted black.

Podio’s will be in stock next week after we put the True Temper forks in the frame boxes.
