ADVENTURE BY BIKE®

The Journey - Issue 1

Above is the cover and below is the back cover our new mini publication, The Journey - Issue 1.    The Journey is a short printed piece filled with images and words that point to our journey and our passion for Adventure by Bike.   It is our Salsa story.

Right now, it is filled with images and words from our own crew.   Going forward, it is our desire to also fill these pages with your words, your photos, and your stories.   The Journey marks our first attempt at capturing stories and inspiration from a much larger audience.   We want your story of Adventure by Bike and want you to share it.     We want to build a larger community because there is no better way to experience the world than by bicycle.    The Journey is the first step and we will be following up with a Flickr photo sharing site as well as promoting and encouraging folks to share their story with us at gofar@salsacycles.com

Lastly, since we know folks want to see and talk about product, we will be posting live from Las Vegas all next week.   Monday through Wednesday will be about new product models.     Please note that since almost the entire crew is in Las Vegas for the tradeshow, we may not be able to answer all of your questions right away.   I assure you we will read them and answer as we have time, but some questions will have to wait until we return from Interbike.

Thanks to all for your continued support and interest in Salsa Cycles and for your love of bicycles.    Hope you enjoy the next part of our journey.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jason Boucher

Growing up as a Minnesota farm boy, I developed an appreciation and love for land and open space. This appreciation has fostered two passions, cycling and photography. Both of these passions provide freedom, encourage me to explore and foster creativity. More importantly though, my journey with a bike and a camera reminds me that the world is big and I am small.

I’m looking forward to this. Adventure by Bike really seems to be a growing trend now and that is a very good thing.

Thanks a lot folks.  We are looking forward to this too.

Regarding how to get a hold of them?  Well, we received the first copies just in time for Interbike.  We’ll also be providing them to our Authorized Salsa Dealers after Interbike.

After this initial push, we’ll post up some details about how to get a hold of them.

Thanks again.

You’ll definitely be hearing from me re: content.

I am in Australia though, what are my chances of ever seeing a physical copy of this thing? Can I subscribe?

Love the photo’s.  They look awfully familiar.  Making me homesick for the Flint Hills.  Can’t wait to get my hands on a copy of The Journey.  Heading out on a journey of my own on my beloved Mamasita first thing in the morning.

Very cool!  Finally, finally, finally a place to revel in the joy of riding far.

Always wondering what’s over the next hill…...

Great idea guys! I hope to add to the story here and there.

Looks cool and I’m anxious to see it. I’m sure Salsa will do well with it. @Alex, I know at least ONE other pub, that shares the joy of endurance racing and epic adventures! ;)
