Cold Rolled: Chapter One

Today we're excited to share the first chapter from Clear & Cold Cinema's new fatbike film - Cold Rolled: Marquette Michigan's Snow Bike Route.

Come back each of the following four Saturday's as we share the subsequent chapters.

Their snow is deep, the history that led to this bike trail is rich, and the dedication in the Marquette cycling community impressive.

Enjoy! -Kid

I love being outside. I prefer to ride on dirt. Or snow. If I was born a hundred years earlier I might have been a polar explorer. There's a great natural world out there to see, smell, taste, listen to, and experience. Life slows down out there and the distractions we've created will disappear if you let them. Give me a backpack and let me go.

Looks great! I can’t wait to see the upcoming chapters.

Marquette’s SBR is a great way to enjoy biking in the winter and I recommend for anybody within a reasonable drive to make the trip…It’s more than worth it if you have a fat bike.

Video is the best way to explain how much fun Fatbiking is. I can’t wait to see more.
I am at peace outside on my fat bike.

Beautiful filming so far, can’t wait to see the rest. Just picked up a Salsa Mukluk 2 and looking forward to riding this winter.

Been snowy here in Baltimore this week. Just picked up a Mukluk 3 from Joe’s Bike Shop. Had NO IDEA how much fun fat biking in the snow was going to be. Been out 3 times already and can’t wait for more!
