Sneak Peek Friday - The new Chili is almost here

As we shared earlier this week, Tim and Mark were in Taiwan overseeing production of our new Chili Con Crosso.  Tim is on his way to Europe now and Mark is hand carrying this production frame back home.   This images should give you just a bit more info about the details and features of this new frameset.

Look for the full product launch with pricing, specs, & details of the new Chili soon.   We do want folks to know we will be selling the new Chili Con Crosso both as a frameset and as a complete bike.   We like options and we hope you do too.

We've sponsored the Salsa Two-Four In Support Of MORC for the last 3 years. This year's event has really taken a step forward to becoming the bike, art, and music festival that we'd hoped it would eventually become. Massive props to Amanda from MORC for her work on this event. MORC runs it. Salsa sponsors it.

Here is some of what is going on: Friday Night DH Race, 24-Hour Racing, 8-Hour Racing, Bike Games With Salsa, Homemade Salsa Competition & Tasting, Artists Displaying & Selling Bike-Related Art, Live Music, Food, Bonfires, Camping...

And here is the kicker...aside from the racing, this is a FREE event! C'mon out and take part even if you aren't racing! For more info visit Salsa Two-Four

Growing up as a Minnesota farm boy, I developed an appreciation and love for land and open space. This appreciation has fostered two passions, cycling and photography. Both of these passions provide freedom, encourage me to explore and foster creativity. More importantly though, my journey with a bike and a camera reminds me that the world is big and I am small.

Nice! I, too, like the silver/gray color. A nice complement to my green-machine CCC.

Yeah, yeah…..but what is that laying on the table? Looks like steel. Cable bosses on the downtube would indicate road bike, perhaps? Is it even a Salsa?

Gotta be careful what you put in the backround of these sneak peek shots, ya’all! :)

If it is indeed a salsa frame in the background I would bet money that they put it there on purpose….

Yep, I think that’s gonna be my first CX bike!

@GT - I expected someone like you to see that.  I wonder why it is mostly covered and just enough out of focus so you can’t really make things out?  ;)  But…It is a Salsa and you are right with 2 out of 3 of your observations.

well, looks like I’ll be looking for an older red or green CCC…  not a fan of the color or the graphics, looks too early 90’s, at least in this picture…  If I can’t find a red or green CCC, might have to go with a Spooky…

I’ve learned my lesson. I’m not saying anything about any Salsa bikes from now on until I see them and/or ride them. As far as sneak peaks, anything you do is golden…the peaked parts don’t matter til you get your paws on them.

I want some racks, and I want ‘em quick!

Post something about the new FS bike thats not the same as it what it was.

Hmmm, beautiful blue graphics against the cool silver. Looks like it’s borrowing from the Mukluk graphics design…. which makes me wonder…. will it be reflective at night?
