Part 2 - Kim and Bjorn

Bjorn Olson and Kim McNett are bonded by their outdoor lifestyle, wilderness pursuits, and place-based inquiry. During their first winter together, they constructed a wooden sea kayak for a summer circumnavigation of the Prince William Sound and never looked back. Their cumulative ambitions have led them across thousands of roadless miles through ever-dynamic landscapes, enduring scenarios, and elated successes. With their partnership and support for each other as their greatest quality, Bjorn and Kim have chosen a life that prioritizes experiences and awareness of surroundings. Their completed routes by bike, packraft, and sea kayak form a network of highlighted lines across the map of Alaska, and more are always in the queue. Both are active contributors to the local non-profits Homer Cycling Club and Ground Truth Trekking.
