I am a multi -sport athlete (trail run, bike, ski) whose love for bikes continues to grow exponentially year after year! Each time I head for a ride, be it on gravel or on a trail, I learn something profound about myself. Once I did this trip in Kenya from outside of Nairobi to the Indian Ocean, and I was forced to confront many things about myself riding through desert, savannah, towns, mountains…meeting folks with very different perspectives and experiences, and being stunned into silence by the most fantastic vistas. The bike did that for me and I always look forward to this kind of self-learning brought on simply by being on two wheels and pedaling in silence.
My absolute favorite ride has been the Cutthroat but I also love my Fargo and Horsethief!
