Our Class 5 Vibration Reduction System (VRS) uses thin, outwardly bowed seatstays and vertically compliant chainstays to absorb road vibrations that would otherwise impact the rider.

Flipping the shock mount hardware adjusts bottom bracket height, head tube angle, and seat tube angle so riders can fine-tune their experience.

We use various materials to protect our frames and forks from damage, whether it’s a rock strike on the trail or thick, abrasive mud on your favorite gravel route.

Salsa innovated new bottle and accessory mount placements for added utility and ride range. Our gravel and road bikes have mounts on the top tube and underside of the down tube, plus up to five additional bottle mounts for extra hydration, ride accessories, and bikepacking gear. Our mountain bike line features top tube mounts, mounts on the underside of the down tube on hardtail models, and space for multiple bottles on hardtails and select suspension bikes.

Split Pivot suspension design uses a concentric rear axle pivot to isolate pedaling and braking forces from each other—no other suspension system offers this level of isolation.

Split Pivot + is our suspension development philosophy that allows riders to swap suspension travel within a single chassis.

We design our suspension for a familiar feel that’s relatable across platforms, yet tuned for each use case. We prioritize a progressive leverage ratio, consistent, lower anti-rise curves, and supportive anti-squat in the pedaling zone.
